Have you ever met a 13-year-old you know is going to change the world? That’s the case of Elliott Tanner, a physics student at the University of Minnesota—remember, he’s 13—who joined Haley Taylor Schlitz on the latest episode of “Zooming In w/ Gen Z,” powered by Citizen Ed.

Meet the 13-Year-Old University Student Studying Physics’ Biggest Mysteries

Why did Elliott choose physics?

“Physics is great because you get to uncover some of the secrets of the universe,” he said.

Specifically, Elliott searches for new kinds of neutrinos, the subatomic particles that might just take people to the Microverse in the future with Ant-Man and the Wasp—we’re kidding, we think.

Be sure to watch Elliott’s entire interview to learn more about what it’s like to be such a young university student.

You can follow “Zooming In’s” Haley Taylor Schlitz on Twitter to learn more about one of Gen Z’s emerging leaders.
