The Powerful Parent Network is heading to South Carolina, the next stop on their “Freedom Ride for Education Equity.” Their goal is to ensure that Democratic presidential candidates hear this critical message, articulated on their GoFundMe page:

“We’re tired of our children going to failing schools. We’re tired of being trapped in school where our kids never learn to read. Trapped in schools where our kids never learn to do math. Our system needs big, bold changes. Our kids need better public education choices.”

They plan to be in South Carolina for the debate and then spend the following days until the primary riding around the state to meet with candidates at their rallies and in their campaign offices. They also want to teach and educate voters about the importance of education equity and choice—and they plan to pop into coffee shops, courthouses, community centers, and schools to make it happen.

You may already know the Powerful Parent Network from their visit to an Elizabeth Warren rally in Atlanta and a public education forum in Pittsburgh.
