David Bond began teaching as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Papua New Guinea in 1993, forgoing a career in immunology research. Received a graduate degree in Education from the University of New Mexico while teaching science classes at a public high school on the Navajo Reservation. I have taught science classes in the Missouri Ozarks since 1998. My career has wrestled with the unique challenges faced by students at the margins. My wife is also a teacher and we have two children. To keep my sanity I play and write music and fly fish.
