NYPD: Teacher arrested for hitting 10-year-old boy with medical condition
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 64-year-old man was arrested Friday for allegedly hitting and placing his hands over the nose and mouth of a 10-year-old boy with medical conditions at a Graniteville public school, said a police spokeswoman.
Robert Busan, 64, was arrested and charged with acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17-years-old, said the spokeswoman. The incident occurred inside in PS 861 at about 2:15 p.m. on Friday, according to police.
Teacher indicted on charges related to alleged 2-year relationship with student
GWINNETT COUNTY – A Parkview High School math teacher and football coach accused of carrying on a sexual relationship with a student for at least two years was indicted on child molestation and sexual assault charges on Wednesday.
Gwinnett County Public Schools police arrested Michael Henderson, 32, at about 11:30 a.m. May 19 after the school system investigated Henderson and found that he’d been allowing a student to “perform oral sex on him numerous times at Parkview High School,” according to the affidavit.
The girl was reportedly a student in Henderson’s class.
‘Predatory’ Miami teacher had sex with multiple students over 14 years, suit says
MIAMI, FLORIDA – The Miami-Dade School Board has been sued over allegations it turned a blind eye to high school teacher Jason Edward Meyers, who was accused of having sex with multiple students over the course of 14 years — spending so much time with some underage women they were referred to as “Jason’s girls.”
Meyers was arrested last year and faces charges for sexual battery on a minor. His criminal case is ongoing and he has been on house arrest. He was fired by the district soon after his arrest.
The suit, first reported by The Miami Herald, accuses the district of transferring Meyers from one school to another even though it knew about his inappropriate behavior with underage students. Meyers, a creative writing teacher, taught at Dr. Michael M. Krop High School, where he was accused of having sex with students, and in 2011 he was moved to Miami Palmetto High, the suit alleges.
Charlottesville teacher faces additional child porn charges
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) – A Charlottesville high school teacher charged last week with possessing child pornography is now facing nearly 20 counts of producing child pornography.
The Daily Progress reports that Charlottesville police have now charged 56-year-old Richard Alan Wellbeloved-Stone with 19 counts of producing child pornography and one count of aggravated sexual battery.
Wellbeloved-Stone has been suspended from his job as a science teacher at Charlottesville High School. He was first hired by the district in 2002.
Married teacher, mom, 31, surrenders to police amid accusations of sex with four teen boy students
BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT – A former Connecticut special education teacher and married mother, who is currently awaiting trial for allegedly having sex with one of her students, surrendered to police Wednesday after allegations surfaced of sex acts with another student — and police say there are least two more victims.
Ramos gave herself up to Bridgeport police Wednesday when she was told about a warrant for her arrest for allegedly having sexual relations with a student inside a restaurant in Shelton, CTPost reported.
