A recent twitter thread from Citizen Stewart sparked an impromptu chat around teacher licensing exams, and what it means when minorities disproportionately fail them. The initial story that sparked the conversation was an article showing that Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) data shows minorities disproportionately failing Florida’s Teacher Certification Exam (FTCE).
