Another week of teachers busted for behaving badly.

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA (CBS46) – The teacher and paraprofessional involved in a fight in front of students at Stone Mountain Middle School have been arrested and will be terminated by the district. The DeKalb County School District spokesperson released this statement regarding the termination of the employees on Wednesday.“The two school employees caught on video in the fight in the classroom last Friday will be terminated following the conclusion of the appropriate district processes.” The district didn’t specify as to when the employees would be let go. Middle school students screamed in science class as the two got into a fist fight right in front of their desks.

ST. PETERSBURG — A Meadowlawn Middle School science teacher was arrested Wednesday morning on charges that he molested three students, police said. Joseph Zavalnak, 41, faces five counts of lewd and lascivious molestation. The victims were ages 13 and 14, according to arrest reports. St. Petersburg police said they began their investigation after one victim’s parents called them.

SAN FRANCISCO – A 22-year-old assistant teacher has been arrested for leaving bomb threat voice mail messages at a school in San Francisco, police said. Pablo Munoz of South San Francisco was taken into custody without incident Friday after investigators uncovered that he has behind the bomb threats targeting LePort Monessori School on May 8 and May 16, according to police. No explosives were ever located at the school.

LAKEVIEW, OREGON – Dylan Sullivan, Lakeview teacher, was arrested on Friday, May 19 by Oregon State Police on charges of luring a minor, encouraging child sex abuse in the first degree, and possession of materials depicting sexually explicit conduct of a child in the first degree. Bail was set at $30,000 with Sullivan posting $3,000 after being booked at the Deschutes County jail.

KLAMATH FALLS, OREGON – Klamath Falls school Teacher Matthew Laurence Walker is accused of taking pictures of girls’ underwear underneath their desks. Walker teaches math at Brixner Junior High School. School officials say they learned of the situation Monday, and contacted Oregon State Police. They conducted an investigation which resulted in Walker’s arrest on Tuesday. At that time, Walker was placed on administrative leave. Walker was booked at the Klamath County Jail on five counts of invasion of personal privacy.

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) – The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a teacher on charges of sexual misconduct with a student. Moulton Middle School teacher Taylor Brooks Boyles, 27, is charged with school employee engaging in a sex act or deviant sexual intercourse with a student under the age of 19. Lawrence County Sheriff Gene Mitchell said the investigation started after the Lawrence County Board of Education received information that Boyles was engaging in an inappropriate sexual relationship with a student at Lawrence County High School. The school board notified law enforcement.
